I was doing a little research today and collected some interesting stats.  According to what I've found, it should be easy to direct your customers to better sports books.

Bookmakers review - 2

2 Poor. Assigned to bookmakers regarded as having significant weaknesses which could negatively impact a player's betting experience. In some cases these weaknesses are magnified by the unwillingness of the bookmaker to correct past problems or to change business direction over the long term. In short, if you happen to play with bookmakers rated 2, you are probably asking yourself for trouble.

This is the current wording - Apply the retroactive clause only to new affiliates.
I would reword it to say - Apply the new terms only to new affiliates. (not retroactively).

I voted to apply the new terms for new affiliates.  BTW, the wording is confusing on that option (number 3) since the terms wouldn't be retroactive if they only apply to new affiliates.

This may not be the popular option but it is the most realistic and the one that makes their terms illegal.  If they don't apply them retroactively, they are within their legal rights....

Once we get them to remove the new terms for existing affiliates then we can go after them to remove the predatory terms from the contract for all affiliates.  We have to be realistic and take this one step at a time.  First roll the terms back, then eliminate them...

Hey
I'm Terry and in addition to running a few portals I'm also in charge of the Gambling Affiliates Union (see the GAU link in my signature below).  I also live in Canada and have known Steve for at least a couple years.  He's a nice guy, honest too.  Shitty poker player though.  LMAO j/k

I am looking forward to the discussions we'll be having here.  From my perspective, the first thing we need to accomplish is getting the terms rolled back for existing affiliates so they are not retroactive.  Then we can work on educating new affiliates about the 5% rule, quotas, etc so they don't get conned into promoting Bwin when there are better sports books out there with way better terms.

That's it for now...

Terry
